“Mt Holdsworth is one of the highest peaks in the Tararua Ranges, Wairarapa and at its base sits a winery of the same name, nestled into its shadows. The vineyards are planted in line with Sustainable Winegrowing guidelines, meaning there are no pesticides or fertilisers used. The vineyard management team work tirelessly to ensure the grapes flourish under these conditions. While the region is commonly known for its Pinot Noir, other aromatic varietals like Chardonnay, Riesling and Sauv Blanc also do well here. This one is bursting with fresh lime, Granny Smiths and a hint of ripe passionfruit, it’ll do great this year and through into 2021.” – 17/20, Wine Central Tasting Panel
A vibrant Wairarapa Savvy Blanc with fresh limes and gooseberries on the nose. The palate is juicy but zesty with a linger finish.
