“A riper expression, aromas of peach skin, pineapple and mango with alluring notes of dried straw. This wine has good concentration on the palate with toasted almond and hazelnut flavours, soft acidity with a long warm finish.” – Lynnette Hudson, Experienced Winemaker and Advisor
Apple characters on the nose with a touch of oak. A soft and textured palate, yet vibrant and fresh. Clean notes of apple and citrus with a toasty complexity. Can be consumed now but will improve with some ageing.
This dry white is Chardonnay blended with 15% Chenin Blanc, the former adding weight and richness whilst the Chenin adds a balancing freshness. Oak ageing along with other Burgundian practices such as malolactic fermentation and lees ageing add a lovely texture and savoury complexity to this fantastic wine.
Chateau Saint Roch Limoux Chardonnay has toasted bready notes lead on the nose, intertwined with fruits such as peach and pineapple and a touch of vanilla. The palate reveals a wine with good texture, refined elegance and minerality.
