Saddleback Pinot Noir 2017

The nose is bursting with floral aromas and redcurrant perfume. The palate is rich and juicy with delicious raspberry, hints of wild strawberry and spice flavours. A wonderful expression of Central Otago Pinot Noir. A round, luscious and fruit forward Pinot Noir with lots of flavours and lovely soft tannins. This wine was 100% hand-harvested in Central Otago; 43% Bendigo, 40% Pisa, 17% Gibbston and spent 10 months aging in older French Oak. 

A slow start to the season after a cooler spring, however this was followed by a hot, dry summer and warm autumn resulting in lovely purity of fruit with good acidity and great flavours.
Alcohol: 13.5%
