“Asti has had a bad rap over the last few years. Often made in an overly sweet, bulk produced style, it has led to people discounting it and favouring bubbles like Prosecco instead. However, we think when it’s done right, it’s amazing, and that’s what you get with this bottle from Signore Giuseppe. It’s made in a dolce style, meaning its sweet (and gentle if we’re taking the true translation!) and is a great way to finish a meal. Slightly misleading in the glass, its pale yellow with flecks of gold but on the nose is where the magic happens. The 100% Moscato grapes give us everything from mango and peach, flowers and honey, making this a dream with any dessert, cake or just as a digestif, saluti!” – Wine Central Tasting Panel

A brilliant Asti with a fresh nose that is perfumed, delicate, persistent, with notes of candies, and a touch of exotic fruits and honey. Clear straw yellow colour with slight green and gold reflections with the yellow colour becoming stronger with age. Strong flavours of fresh fruits and geranium, which come slowly. The richness and the sweet finesse of melon are typical of the Muscat vines. Excellent chilled as an aperitif, but also perfect with desserts, cakes, and sweet pastries.
