“This is a light bodied, dry and incredibly refreshing white wine made from the world HQ of the Chenin Blanc grape, namely, South Africa. It’s fruity and full of flavour, finishing with the crisp fresh acidity of Chenin Blanc making this wine a fantastically refreshing drink. It’s made with grapes grown in the Western Cape. Sealed with a screwcap.” – 3.5 Stars, Joelle Thomson, Wine Writer
“Chenin Blanc is often associated with the Loire Valley, France where it’s made in a whole host of styles from bone dry to lusciously sweet. It’s also found a home in the New World in South Africa where it truly shines. Recently the country bypassed France in the production of Chenin, and we think the bottles coming out of the region are truly something special. If your new to the varietal think flavours like Chardonnay but without the oak treatment. In this one you’ll find notes of exotic fruits like pineapple and mango alongside nashi pear and citrus. Its best served chilled down in a deep glass, as an aperitif or with any seafood.” – Wine Central Tasting Panel
Put a spring in your step! This intensely aromatic and tropical fruit filled Chenin Blanc comes to us straight from Africa. The Western Capes most widely grown white grape is here well rounded, full bodied and crisp. Best served as an aperitif or with freshly caught shellfish, why not try it in place of your normal Sauv?
An aromatic South African white wine, with a nose of lovely exotic fruits and white pear. Feels well-rounded in the mouth. Serve cool on its own as an apertif or with dishes such as fish, shellfish or cured meats.
