A fine wine from the Central Valley, Chile with a sub $20 price tag! With typical colouring, aromas and flavours, this Carmenere is driven by dark fruits with sweet spices and chocolatey hints in the mix. Long, round and very fruity to finish.

Carmenere comes from Bordeaux where unfortunately it did not survive the phylloxera. Nowadays we mainly find the grape in Chile where it’s become something of a national hero. Carménère produces deep wines with low acidity, soft tannins and flavours of chocolate and black fruits such as blackberries.
